Dad
I just got home from a long day at the hospital. My dad had surgery early this morning and my family gathered to wait it out together and ensure he pulled through - which he finally did. He's a fighter. As I sat counting away the hours I began to think about all the times he had supported me no matter what the situation was - no questions asked. The good and the bad. Although I'm not a father at this moment, if circumstances ever change, and I'm graced with a little one, I will always conduct myself just like my Dad conducted himself with me. He's my biggest hero and I want him back on his feet pronto so we can get on with making more trouble together. The picture above is from the 2006 East Coast Porsche 356 Holiday in Harbor Springs, Mi. Its just a bit after dawn and we were making our way up to the hill climb staging area in Ava, my old tub which we had entered in the race. I stopped because the light was amazing, my Dad did his best to become invisible in the shot but thankfully I got him anyway. Love ya pop and thanks for everything. Now heal so we can get on with it!
Get him back on his feet so you can race the hell out of that 356!
