I'm Back!

Courtesy of a total hard-drive meltdown I have been away for a bit. Missed you all. Now let's get rolling with the eye candy. That's the great Leo Payne bringing the rubber to temp.

Damn...

So it's bust. After staying up late last night tuning the bike and packing everything down, riding her into work this morning and counting the seconds till I could steer the wheels south, slowly the responsibilities began to pile up. By lunch my work calender began to go from something I could put off until Monday, to OMG - this stuff has to get done right NOW! So it's bye bye Barber. Hello surface sign-off, marketing pow-wow, model direction and sketch blitz. I guess Barber will have to wait another year...crap.

Barber or Bust!

For years I have been hearing people rave about the Barber Museum and Vintage Festival but up till now I have never been able to swing it. So with Bonneville temporarily out of the picture it's go time. Gave the Duc a well earned oil change last night and strapped my tent down. Lookout Alabama, here comes Diesel!

The "Assasin"...

This bike has a somewhat colorful history here in the D. It was garbage-picked(!!!) in Hamsandwich a few years back by a friend of a friend who then sold it as a complete basket. Then last night I find out it's back together and for sale on Ebay! Here's the link... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120626838956 Thanks to the excellent smallcitycycles blog for the link. It would be cool if someone from the mitten brought it back home...

WANTED MAN

I shared I-90 with this guy for a while through the Dakotas on the way to Sturgis this year. Loved his bike! Don't know who he is but his bike was a nice change from all the billet barges clogging the slab west. Looks like Ontario plates and he has a couple Bonneville patches on his leather. Anyone have any leads?

Paul & Rich

Paul Martin on the left is Harley's main graphics guru, pinstriper and resident harp blower. Rich Christoph on the right is the creative noggin behind the Nightster and other recent sportster additions, can party like a viking and makes nice babies. The guy in the middle is late to work most days.

Rubber Girls Fuel and Fire

What could possibly top 20+ bikes doing a burnout in perfect unison? Well, that would be cute girls spitting fire above them. Sturgis is a very subtle place.
