An Easter Roll

Saturday's I'm usually at work so when I get a day off I typically try to utilize it as best I can. This year FMC was shut down for the Easter weekend so I decided to make a run down to Perrysburg Ohio with my '39 ULH for a roll down the banks of the swollen Maumee river towards Indiana. I was also trying to put some fresh miles on my new re-built police special speedo (thanks Hammer! Works great.) In Napoleon there is a HD dealer with a killer little museum that I like to visit when I'm passing through. Apologies for the poor photo quality, my camera has been dropped one too many times and is now officially kaput. Anyway I made it to Defiance Ohio for lunch and a stroll through the towns antique store. After that it was a straight shot East back to where I began. The road that skirts the river is an Ohio scenic byway that tracks over all kinds of country. From rolling hills to dense woods to well groomed farmland, always pitching and twisting with only a couple straightaways and a nice smooth surface. A good road for sure and since the speed limit is only 50mph all the heavy traffic stays to the north on 20 leaving the river road virtually empty. If you get the chance check it out.
