Test Fitting
Ry and I had to make some changes in order to fit my lanky ass comfortably on - or rather in - this motorcycle. You can really get a feel for how low and tight the proportions are from the pic above (I'm about 6'1"). Changes have included a slight trim to the rear edges of the fairing and new brackets that push it away from the bike in top view so my legs can tuck into it easily (neither mod has been done in the pic). But the biggest mod was moving the seat position back about 2" without actually moving the tail section in side view so the proportions stay the same - the seat area just grew. This required some major cut-up of the glass but in the end had to be done so the bike is ride-able. Even in this view the bubble part of the tail looks a little too long and fights with the tank visually. This new mod will mitigate that and make the bike much more comfortable.

The first few times you come to a stop and have to pull your leg out from behind the fairing might be .......interesting.
Looking very nice indeed, great lines and flow, it's good checking out Ry's blog as well as yours for different perspectives.
What about a longer tank? Just a thought...
Not much room for a longer tank. Ry just sent me pic of the chopped tail section finished and it looks PERFECT. Hopefully that will do it.
After looking at the chopped seat for a few days now, the longer one pictured above looks a little weird.
