Sunset at the Rio Grand gorge bridge just outside of Taos can be a religious experience. Cowboy stuff store Horse Feathers is a must-see downtown as well. Lindsey and the H.F. crew are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet - and yes Lindsey you can throw us up on horses next time! Crossing Independence pass on the way to Woody Creek, Colorado can also be a religious experience. 12,959 feet up with no guardrails will perk up your senses and force you to forget all that other unnecessary crap you park in the back of your mind. There is about six square inches in between your ears and we tried to fill that space with some of the best views this country has to offer - besides the cost of a little gas it's all out there for free...get to it.
