Look Out California
New Jersey's second favorite son just announced his inclusion in the 2012 Born Free show. Our close compadre Walter (seen above), from Kick-Start Cycle Supply will be whipping one up for the big show on June 30th way out west at the Oak Canyon Ranch. Looking forward to seeing his scoot take shape. Click post title for the full story.

Fab Kevin's Scrambler
I am digging Fab Kevin's winter build - this stout little "scrambler". Check out those pipes! Kevin tells me it's his version of a factory superglide, or what he wished a factory superglide would have looked like. I've seen it up close and the details are really nice. Can't wait to see the final product this spring.
Couch Swap
Being stuck on the couch here has allowed me some time to frequent the virtual swap meets, thumb through various parts catalogs and even do some searching via cell phone for parts. Hunting has been good. From finding a replacement scavenger pump housing for the ULH rebuild to a nice Electric Franks voltage regulator. Even stopped buy the toy department for this killer Britains, J.A.Prestwich Industries Jap powered rail that Alf Hagon rode into the history books (thanks JP!). The sissy bar I found on foot this past summer at a real swap meet - I just wanted to show it off a little and find out if anyone knew anything about it? I'm bored...

In the Mix
I finally got around to mixing down a recent musical project at Detroit's world famous Hi-Bias recording studio. It's strategically placed just across the street from the best BBQ (Slows) and the best new craft bar (Sugar House) in motown. Hail hail rock& roll - and good pulled pork and bourbon!
