The Turnip Eater

I'm assuming this is pre-Bonneville but I don't know for sure. I believe it's at Lions dragway and Leo is about to nail second gear. This was the first conventional motorcycle to break the 200MPH barrier (about 50mph faster than Rollie Free on his Vincent) - ultimately hitting 222mph on the salt and placing Leo Payne firmly in the history books. Some say a Sportser is a girl's bike? Ya, ok.

Viva La Velvet

Elvis is alright but I'd rather have Pancho.

Rosemary

Been spending some time on Rosemary - found some bags and a windshield, made a new rear fender skirt that matches the front skirt Slojoe dug up for me. Found some old trumpet tips for the Buco dual exhaust. Sorted out a few hundred other small issues. Still some work to do but I'm starting to see the whole picture. Rode her into work Tuesday for our annual employee car show. Thanks for the pic Jim!

Ruler

This is Canadian Chris. He rode that '68 FL from British Columbia to New York (something like 2000 miles). He was never without a smile on is face. He may very well have it all figured out. Looking forward to next time my friend...

Big Jim

Growing up in my neighborhood there was a dividing line - it was either GI Joe or Big Jim. GI Joe was pretty cool but Big Jim was a ruler. Check the whip and those lapels! Also, you could not get a GI Joe with a case full of human faces.
