Joe and Art stopped by Davenport on their way to
Sturgis. They both rode their
knucks all the way.

S&S "Tramp"
redux.

Pretty
Injun. Does that chain guard remind you of your childhood Stingray?
Purty brakes too.

Same guy that built the Indian above also built this Vincent. He nailed his details - notice how the arc of that hose matches the arc of the exhaust? Sweet.

Ancient "Old Black Joe" hill climber.

Oops...

Board track eye candy.

And a little more.
Flexi.

One of the nicest
WLR's I've ever seen!

Yummy.
Gettin a leg up...
ok that was lame.

Dinner trip. I love Art's whole Steamboat captain look.

Checking out Gene's Bonneville entry.

Midnight trailer crew. The beers and BS always flow at Gene's rig after hours.
Gettin silly on Gene's hardware. Art took me by a beard length.

Davenport was SO much better then the last time I attended 3 years ago. The turn out was huge and the swap meet was bigger as well. I found some original floorboards and a saddle bag for the '39 which was
waiting for me in
Milwaukee at the 105
th party. Tune in next time for the final instalment of this report. Cheers.
