A Southern Roll - PT3 The Wynwood District

Love this place...twice as big as last year.  Cooler yet, the worlds largest outdoor gallery draws even more people to move into the area.  Buildings that sat dark and empty now have new inhabitants - lights are put up along every blank wall instigating anyone with a can of Krylon and a message to have at it. I've never seen a better use of drab urban facades anywhere.  A forgotten decaying shithole becomes THE place to be. This formula could work in Detroit except that most of us like Detroit just the way it is...

You like Detroit the way it is???? 100,000 abandoned buildings and one of the highest murder rates?? I watched a special on Detroit!!! Holy fuck that place looks like a goddamn war zone. When I watch the walking dead and there are zombies everywhere and it's armageddon it still looks cleaner than the D!

Don't believe the hype...I travel all over the place for my job and I have yet to find a place with as much soul as Detroit. I do love the place. It's really no more dangerous than any major city. The media sucks.

Every city has its problems, and the media seems to focus on them and blow them out of proportion. That seems to be the only way a lot of them can sell themselves and their product. Its a sad thing that bad news always commands the headlines.
Nice pics Diesel, keep up the good work.
