Garage Day

It was about a hundred degrees here in the mitten yesterday - record heat with some brutal humidity. Best thing to do is to stay out of it. So after riding back and forth to work in the morning I decided it was a good day to take care of all the maintenance piling up in my stable. The '39 got a clutch overhaul (SO much better now), Rosemary got a trans linkage tune-up and a thread tap with a fresh 3/8 24 bolt in her stripped kicker pedal. The new duc received a few minor adjustments and a missing foot peg bolt. Washed the truck and organized my tools. Was riding again that night with the guru by the time the temp dropped below 80. Then some late night soft serve and a little drag racing on telegraph. Slept like a new born babe. A good day.

Got a '74 Ironhead and a '69 Triumph dialed in today. Cheers to Summer.

I don't know if you know this or not, but I've been told newborns don't sleep thru the night at all.

You forgot the best part! Had a conversation about saving a 1968 Sunbeam Arrow with PaykanHunter! ;)
