Motorday

We had the warmest day of the year so far yesterday here in the mitten.  While everyone else was out riding in the 65 degree temps and warm sunshine, Papa Bear, Ry and I hung out in a cold, dark garage (it's actually pretty comfortable) and finished the top end rebuild on my roadrace TT sportster (notice how I didn't call it my cafe sportser?).  Thanks to Greg's highly experienced hands the little 883 got re-worked into a hoped up 1200 fire breather with better heads, bigger barrels, pistons and valves.  All went smoothly even though not being able to ride in the first decent weather made us all a little cranky. I'm stoked about the new motor!  I need to give out a HUGE thank you to two of the coolest guys I know - Greg & Ry - both always take care of me no matter what. I live for motorcycles, but at the end of the day it's not the machines we build that really count, it's the friendships that the machines build which do.

Well Spoken! That alone is truely important because machines WILL leave you stranded at some point but the Friends never will. Now... That is one cool way to spend the day, wrenchin' on the Sporty!
Good Luck with the upgrade...
