Your lawn is lookin a bit rough there..... might i suggest some Scott's turf builder, the 10-20-10 blend, and perhaps a vigorous watering schedule. And of course, Penningtons grass seed, a name you can trust.....

I wouldnt listen to this "greaseball dave" or whatever he calls himself... Penningtons is way over rated and a rip off. plain old hardware store grass seed and plenty of water is all you need. That, and a good application of mulch. Most rural cities have a drop off point where you can get it for free. Where are you located ? I have the local Michigan mapping zones... I'll help ya out with that. Do you have a sprinkler system on a timer ? That will help. I prefer Rainbird products myself....

Mulch is what you need my friend, artificial chemicals are a cheap fix. Your soil is depleted. Lowe's gives weekend seminars on lawn care. Wanna meet up for one ? I am a regular there. We can get free coffee at the contractors desk (I know several employees there, who give me a pro discount, even tho I'm not a contractor.) I can hook you up my friend. We'll make a day of it. How does trhis saturday sound ?

Brad, its Tom and Julie, across the way. Listen, we have been trying to reach you, you have been absent lately from the homeowners association meetings, and we havs several concerns we need to address. Perhaps this is not the right place, but honestly, you never answer the door, and everytime I try to call, it seems your off playing "biker"...
Now listen, I dont really care how you spend your free time, Julie and I were young once too, but when you joined our neighbrhood, well, Lets just say we (Julie and I) feel you might have misled us. Hell, lets not mince words here, you DID mis lead us. Julie is worried sick that one of the neighborhood children are going to loose an eye from that piece of rusted scrap jutting out from your front lawn (What IS that thing??)and I am tired of having to pick dandelions because you have let your place go to seed. We saved for years to be able to provide a safe, secure neighborhood for our children to grow up in, and I'll be damned if I'll (Julie and I ) be willing to let you take tat away from us. Clean up your act mister, and your lawn too. And by the way, our "pond" or whatever it once might have been, is a smelly nuicance, and a watering hole for vermin.. I myself have seen squirrels taking a drink.. This ends now, mister, this ends now. call me.....
